Harris Teeter and YouTube sensation Mike Tompkins collaborated on and recently released an ‘A Capella’ version of the my harris teeter jingle that will have shoppers dancing to a new tune in 2012.
It’s the little things by far, and using only his voice and mouth, Tompkins created a new beat for the jingle that has been recognized by thousands on the company’s YouTube page for Tompkins’ impressive musical skills and catchy beat.
The original jingle, released in the fall of 2005, was written to reflect the ownership shoppers take in Harris Teeter.Since that time, the company has hosted contests for schools to create their version of the jingle and also encouraged customers to get involved by downloading the my harris teeter jingle ring tone on their mobile phone.
