Dwight Cromie President/CEO Altek Media Group The goal of Southern
California CEO magazine is to actively stimulate and grow our
region’s economy
Altek Media Group's President and CEO, Dwight Cromie, stated:
"By working with local government and business leaders, we have
taken a holistic approach to rebuilding this region's economy. With
the loss of redevelopment dollars, regional business leaders now
need to take the lead in promoting this region."According to
County Supervisor and candidate for the
41st Congressional District John Tavaglione, "Inland Southern
California has tremendous potential for any business or
organization to start, expand, or grow their business. We are a
model for economic and business development, not just for the
state, but the nation as well.”
The Altek Media Group's already successful SoCalCEO.com
magazine features video stories highlighting Southern
California-based businesses and their CEOs, local events,
governmental agencies, and economic and educational news. Cromie
claims: “The goal of Southern California CEO magazine is to
actively stimulate and grow our region’s economy by telling our
story in a much more effective manner than is currently being
done.”He went on to say, "Any marketing expert will tell you that
word of mouth is absolutely the best form of marketing. What better
way to promote our region than to have branding messages of
economic success and prosperity delivered directly from the men and
women whose organizations call the Inland Southern California
region home?”
The video stories or episodes are distributed to over 250,000
online news feed subscribers and over 30,000 online journalists,
along with all major search engines. They are also sent to an
already growing subscriber list of over 5,000 regional business
leaders in the magazine’s newsletter. According to Marketing
Director, Patrick McCoy, “The average video story increases the web
footprint of the business or organization by several thousand
online listings. In fact, the County of Riverside has already seen
an increase of nearly 20,000 additional online search results.”
The Altek Media Group's SoCalMD.org magazine
focuses on medical professionals and their patients by highlighting
doctors, hospitals, organizations, and medical information.
SoCalNPO.org magazine covers nonprofit organizations throughout the
region. Since one of the biggest problems facing nonprofits today
is funding, SoCalNPO.org offers a
forum through which local nonprofits and their sponsors can spread
their message with a goal of increasing much needed philanthropic
dollars to their organization and the region. The last of Altek’s
newest online magazines is SoCal Water
and Power (SoCalWNP.org), a video magazine centered on sharing
developments and news within the region’s water and power industry.
SoCal Water and Power provides a resource through which businesses
and local governments can observe what is happening by watching
video stories on conferences, summits, workshops, and business
projects.
Supervisor John Tavaglione stated, “A region as dynamic as Inland
Southern California which is the center for education, logistics,
foreign trade, recreation, and arts and culture deserves a forum in
which stakeholders can come together and tell the nation, and the
rest of the world, what this region has to offer.” By telling
stories of success and progress nationally and internationally, The
Altek Media Group and its partners hope to not only restore the
Southern California economy, but to bring it into its full
potential, and better the region and nation as a whole.
