Job hunters now have a new way of finding better jobs, faster, thanks to a recent collaboration between Gina Hiatt, Ph.D., founder and president of Finish Agent, Inc., and Yorkworks, a company contracted with the Canadian government to guide unemployed and underemployed people back into the job market.With the launch of a new 3-month project, the two companies are working together to help 60 job seekers take the small, daily steps needed to make the giant leap back into the workplace.

“Repeatedly being rejected for jobs is psychologically punishing,” said Hiatt. “The task of finding a job, coupled with rejection and lack of response day after day, can take a toll on the spirit, and turn the process into an overwhelming and depressing journey.”

This collaboration provides both to the job seeker -- Finish Agent's software system offers daily visual tracking, graphs of client progress and private group forums; Yorkworks provides expert guidance, skills, and coaching.

In addition to helping job seekers take those essential daily steps, Yorkworks, with the help of Finish Agent , will offer:

Over the course of this 3-month project, as job seekers find and begin their new careers, new spots will open up, making room for more to join and find their way back into the working world.
