May-Lynn Andresen, RN, has been named Vice President, Business Development, at Quality in Health Care Advisory Group, LLC(QHC). In this role, Andresen will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare professional, provider, and payor organizations for the group’s innovative healthcare consulting practice. Andresen will also serve as a liaison to CECity.com, Inc. Stemedica and EPFL logoStemedica International announced today that it was awarded a grant by the Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation along with its academic partner, The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The 584,522 CHF (approx. 620,000 USD) grant is focused on the use of EPFL’s advanced imaging capabilities along with Stemedica’s ischemic tolerant stem cells and stem cell factors in transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease. The Swiss government is being remarkably progressive in bridging the gap between bench top research and translational medicine.
