St. Helena Hospital Has Opened the New Surgical Learning Institute, Napa Valley, Presenting its First Surgical Training Program on Friday, March 30th.St. Helena Hospital has opened the new Surgical Learning Institute, Napa Valley, presenting its first surgical training program on Friday, March 30th. Forty-three surgeons and allied health professionals gathered from around the nation to participate in the MAKOplasty® Surgeon Masters Course. Produced by MAKO Surgical Corp. and hosted by the Institute, the collaborative learning program focused on advanced robotic orthopedic surgical techniques as taught by surgeons of the Coon Joint Replacement Institute.

well respected expert in contact lens fitting, prescription glasses
and refractive surgery co-management. He also received the US Air
Force F-16 "Top Eye" flight certification and was a member of the
LASIK/PRK evaluation team. His most recent achievement included
completing a 40-week long Air Command course which focused on air,
space, cyberspace education and strategic leadership.
