Flight Control Soars to 2 Million Sales

Hit game for iPhone and iPod touch ascends to lofty new heights. The game was released on 5 March 2009, and reached 1 million sales in three months, making it one of the outstanding App Store success stories. The 2 million milestone was reached on 23 January 2010, and equates to average daily sales of about 6,000. Peak sales were over 30,000 per day on 28 and 29 March 2009, with another recent peak of over 20,000 on Christmas Day 2009. Flight Control has been a fixture in the Top 100 paid apps charts around the world, and has held the #1 position in at least 20 countries including USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Canada and Japan.
