October 5, 2009 -- Targeting users who are looking for a ready-to-use, ultra-portable video projection system right out of the box, Optoma® Technology, Inc., the world's largest selling brand of DLP® projectors, has announced the new PK100 with a selling price of $199. The PK100, designed for general purpose use, is packaged with a composite video cable for connection to digital cameras and camcorders, gaming consoles, and similar devices, as well as a USB cable, power adaptor, tripod adaptor, and a single rechargeable battery. The PK100 will be available through leading retailers and e-tailers immediately. Connector kits for various portable media devices needing more than a composite video cable are available directly from Optoma.
