Additional presentations at the Virtual Energy Forum feature case studies of energy-efficient practices in business, such as that by Heather Henriksen, Director of the Office for Sustainability, Harvard University on “Sustainability Strategies at Harvard University” or “Design for the Future: Zero Energy / Renewable Energy”, a presentation detailing a $5.7 billion construction and renovation project led by Larry Eisenberg, Executive Director for Facilities Planning and Development for the Los Angeles Community College District, the largest community college district in the United States.

“Converting Waste Energy into Clean Energy”, will be presented by Sean Casten, President and CEO, Recycled Energy Development, while a Smart Grid track will provide real world perspectives from different smart grid ecosystem players. “The Smart Grid Track will provide focused and real world perspectives from the policy, utility executive, and technology provider viewpoints in a way not possible at traditional industry events.” said Allan Schurr, VP of Strategy & Development Global Energy and Utility Industry, IBM.
